Saturday 17th October 2020

After much deliberation and government advice on Covid 19, we have decided to postpone our event Brighton Run2music, which was schedule for Saturday 30th May.

However, we are pleased to inform you that Brighton Run2Music will now take place on Saturday 17th October 2020 on Madeira Drive.

John Lunt, Race Director for Brighton Run2Music said, “We have not taken this decision lightly, but in view of the current health crisis we need to look after the public and our community. We are fully aware that this will have an impact on our vendors, participants, performers, artists and crew but we are extremely grateful for all the support we have received from our stakeholders and Brighton & Hove Council to find the alternative date.”

John continued, “In my 30 years organising events, this won’t be the first time I have had to cancel or postpone an event; Due to storms I had to reschedule swims down in Sandbanks in Poole twice. It is very challenging at the time but the athletes appreciate early notice and inevitably they come back and enjoy the re-scheduled event. Participants do not need to do anything as we will automatically move their entry to the new date. We look forward to seeing them in October.”

Brighton and Hove Triathlon  will go ahead as scheduled on 12 & 13th September. Dubrovnik Triathlon will also remain on its planned date of 10th October 2020.
